We segregate the wood from the waste. The wood is then shredded and sent down to the south of England to be turned back into chip board.
The nails and screws etc are then sent and melted down into new nails and new screws.
Any wood that is unfit for re-use is then baled and sent to biomass to create Electricity.
Wood Recycling Process
Glass Recycling Process
The glass we receive undergoes a recycling and repurposing process within UK-based facilities, resulting in the creation of a diverse array of new products, aggregate sub-bases, and fiberglass insulation.
By engaging in the simple yet impactful act of recycling our glass, we actively contribute to the reduction of non-renewable fossil fuel usage and the mitigation of emissions, particularly those associated with the production of CO2 from carbonate raw materials like limestone.
It is noteworthy that for every tonne of recycled glass introduced to the furnace, 1.2 tonnes of raw materials are conserved, underscoring the significant positive environmental implications of glass recycling.
All of our glass is initially crushed to a size of 20 - 40mm and subsequently transported to Ireland. There, it undergoes further crushing, processing, and cleaning before being transformed into fiberglass insulation.
In particular, our glass bottles are meticulously recycled, finding new life either as fresh glass bottles or as decorative glass features, showcasing our commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly practices throughout our production processes.
We're committed to recycling 100% of Waste

Carbon Offset Scheme
SGM where sustainability meets commitment.
At the forefront of our mission is our dedication to supporting the Welsh Government's visionary goal of achieving a carbon net-zero public sector in Wales by 2030.
We take pride in our proactive approach to environmental responsibility, exemplified by our robust carbon offset initiatives, which include extensive tree planting programs, at our eco-area in Cardiff, where we plant a tree for every commercial contract that we are a part of.
By offsetting our carbon footprint through these initiatives, we contribute to a greener future for Wales and beyond.
Join us on this journey towards sustainability, as we proudly participate in the Supply Chain Sustainability School, advocating for responsible and eco-friendly practices in every aspect of our operations.
'Fully Vertical Waste Solutions For A Greener Future'
All of our vehicles run on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil.
HVO is 100% recycled providing a real opportunity to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions instantaneously.
So, all vehicles entering your sites will be 100% eco-friendly
reducing emissions by at least 90% instantaneously.
Manufactured from 100% renewable and sustainable waste, Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) is a paraffinic drop-in fuel that can be used as a replacement for diesel, meeting
N15940 standards.
